Celebrating World Philosophy Day 2008 in the world and at UNESCO Headquarters14-11-2008 (UNESCO) - World Philosophy Day, an annual celebration of philosophy initiated by UNESCO in 2005, continues to extend its scope. This year, the event will be held in Palermo (Italy) on November 20 and 21, while numerous other initiatives will take place at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris and in over 80 countries around the world. This year's celebration is held in honour of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration for Human Rights.
