Sissy Attraction to Lace Tuesday, December 02 2008 @ 11:32 AM CST Contributed by: sissyboy Lace and frilly material is a natural match for sissies, don't you think? What do you own that says "SISSY" to the world? Think about it. There's a sissy outfit that uses lace for most every sissy out there.
Whether you are a SISSY BABY, a SISSY MAID, or a PETTICOAT SISSY, there's a site for every sissy.
Locked in Lace and Sissy Kiss are good places to read about frilly girls.
Now I'm going to show you my secret spots on Ebay that are stores specifically with FRILLY, RUFFLY, LACEY, DELIGHTFUL SISSY THINGS. Ready? Here they are (drum roll):
FIFI's FANTASY FRILLIES (UK) has lacey and frily maids outfits
I LOVE RUFFLES (US) is the place to go for Rhumba Panties, Baby Rompers, Frilly Maids ***Recommended***
CLOSET CRAZY (CA) is THE source for Ruffle Panties!
MIRROR IMAGE has nice costumes
We don't want to overlook satiny things with bows, like Victorian Bloomers.
The Birch Place Shop has some of the world's best sissy wear. I love to go and just look and drool! They have the finest Maids Outfits, in my opinion. But if you're into BOWS and RIBBONS, you absolutely must take a peek at Lingerie By Christine -- custom made sissy dresses (UK). They are to die for!
Interesting article, "Some Men Clean While Wearing Satin and Lace Petticoats" gives some insight into why men take the petticoat or sissy maid course in their lives. Some do it for humiliation or to submit, for others it is a fetish. Many reasons...
Here's what a sissy looks like in an outfit.
Now then, once you get your sissy lace in place, go out today and let someone sneak a peek! Whether it's a garter showing, or your darling lacey sissy socks, or some lace panties you allow shoppers to see as you bend over, give someone a sneak peek!
Now it's sissy story time. To Be A Sissy Sunday, November 30 2008 @ 10:38 AM CST Contributed by: sissyboy You can be a sissy and not have to change EVERYTHING about yourself.
Oh really, you ask? How can that be? I thought I was transforming into a wonderful new being called a "sissy!"
For one thing, you already were a sissy at heart, else why would you even want to be MORE of a sissy! That settled, now you must do an inventory of which manly traits are not desirable in a sissy. And then figure out in what ways you already act or look like a sissy.
Sometimes stereotypes do more harm than good, especially when working on something like a feminine voice. Are you trying to sound more like a woman, or are you actually trying to be an obvious sissy with a lisp or talking in falsetto that makes people raise their eyebrows and spot you as a sissy.
Perhaps your goal IS to try to sound like a ditzy airhead bimbo sissy. In that case, put a lot of "upswings" at the end of all your sentences. (Think Val-girl -- which may sound silly if you're not that young) . Perhaps your goal IS to appear blatantly sissified. In that case, go for the exaggerated mincing walk, the limp wrist, the out-thrust buttocks, and the overdone makeup.

The More I Do It, The More I Like It Wednesday, November 26 2008 @ 08:38 PM CST Contributed by: sissyboy Isn't there something just so addictive about being a sissy? The more you do it the more you like it!
Same with dressing up: the more you do it, the more you like it. And you also get better and better at it.
But there's the converse phenomenon -- if you do it less and less, you will start thinking and feeling more masculine. Ugh! (eventually, you will reach a point where it will feel like you're gonna explode if you don't get into some feminine clothes again, but why do you even want to go there???)
To keep myself in top sissy shape, mentally physically and emotionally, I start the day with Sissy Affirmations. During housecleaning I put on my headset and listen to Sissy Maid Training. At night, again I put on my headphones and listen to Panty Affirmations. Why, you ask? I want being a sissy to be VERY ingrained in me -- every cell of my sissy body! AND I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! Crossdressers Not Great News Stories Sunday, November 23 2008 @ 11:58 AM CST Contributed by: sissyboy Once in a while, I look in the search engines for news about crossdressers. It's pretty scanty. Occassionally there's a bizarre story, but only if the crossdresser has done something totally outrageous. Crossdressers just ain't interesting news anymore.
Gina Lance, editor of TG Life, wrote in the Agora Cosmopolitan, a Canadian newspaper, "...the days of a guy who likes to wear women’s clothes being a newsworthy event are just about over...as transgendered people we are slowly being accepted and blending into society!" Read article...
Gina Lance. Name ring a bell? Gina is the founder of Girl Talk magazine. She is the Editor-in-Chief at TG Life, whose columnists are a pretty impressive lineup. Some names you might recognize:
Dr. Alice Novak, (Q&A Advice Column) author of Alice in Genderland
Deanna Doyle, (a GG writes the Femininity Column), coached Felicity Huffman in Transamerica
Dixie, GG wife of a crossdresser writes Partners Column). They run En Femme Getaway!
Lacey Leigh, author of The Successful Crossdresser (column by the same name)
Contributors from major cities write for City Beat section
Well, instead of telling you all about it, just go check it out for yourself. You'll be there a long time, honey. ;-) All That Glitters Saturday, November 22 2008 @ 09:40 AM CST Contributed by: sissyboy Why am I attracted to sparkly things? I love sparkly chandelier earrings. I think they go well with my maid outift . The jewelry a girl wears, says a lot about her. (If you must go out in male role, choose borderline uni items like this cat -- I'm a kitty lover and wear lots of kitty pins)
Once in a while I put lip gloss with glitter on my lips, and clear but sparkly nail polish on, and then take my chances with being snickered at. I know I'm a little too old for these more youthful things; you don't see too many older women wearing sparkly lip gloss, do you? Still...
I have lots of pretty little treasure chests to keep my precious jewelry in. I chanced across this wonderful store with adorable jewelry (in my opinion), and that's where my collection started. Now I not only have beautiful jewelry, but containers that are actually conversation pieces! Trapped in a Man's Body Monday, November 17 2008 @ 10:40 AM CST Contributed by: sissyboy "Under the made-up cheeks lies a pale shaving shadow. Her voice has a creaky high pitch and there is a modest bulge in her jeans. Because beneath the perfumed feminine gloss, Tamara is a man..." (from Behind The Mask magazine), an article about the price of being trangendered in African countries. It's disturbing.
In another from-the-heart account, transgender Taylor describes Growing Up Trapped in a Man's Body: "I struggled each and every day to hide or deny my thoughts and feelings. I tried to do sports, which did not help much as I have never been a very competitive person..." Now a Junior at Clemson University, Taylor takes hormones and is considering surgery.
uality and even morality have been areas that people in authority have longed to control. Some would like to condemn crossdressing based on mis-interpreted scripture (Deut. 22:5). Some would like to condemn ual preference based on the same. These stories tell of stuggle, fear, condemnation and possible punishment for being who they are. Yet there was a time in history when masterpieces of art and literature were censored for just mentioning or depicting anything homo.
Where do you stand? Do you dare allow yourself to be yourself? Or are the external forces too repressive? Not everyone has the luxury of living in a tolerant society, and some geographic areas even in America are still living in an age of intolerance, condemnation, and longed-for censorship. Transgender Day of Remembrance Monday, November 17 2008 @ 07:31 AM CST Contributed by: sissyboy November 20th is the 10th annual Transgender Day of Remembrance.
The Transgender Day of Remembrance was set aside to memorialize those who were killed due to anti-transgender hatred or prejudice. The event is held in November to honor Rita Hester, whose murder in 1998 kicked off the “Remembering Our Dead” web project and a San Francisco candlelight vigil in 1999. Since then, the event has grown to encompass memorials in dozens of cities across the world.

Gendertalk has many many good transgender podcasts you can listen to over the internet. Walk Like a Woman Friday, November 14 2008 @ 12:57 PM CST Contributed by: sissyboy I myself can always use more and more tips on How to Walk Like a Woman.
It's difficult to overcome the life-long habits and mannerisms we have learned in behaving as a male in society.
You can see how, even with instruction, this YouTube video shows someone trying to learn to walk like a woman.
Part of the difficulty we have is the result of a different physical structure than women, (so a big part of this is How to Move the Hips, where a butt insert can help with the look.). Part of this has to do with how men are expected to behave more aggressively than women, and this shows up even in how we walk, stand, and pose.
It takes lots of practice to do these things NATURALLY; not looking so much like we are simply trying to IMITATE. So here are a few sites that give some good pointers:
TG Today has a very complete guide, "Walking Like a Woman"
Rachel Rehm also gives good pointers in "Walk Like a Woman" attributing a large part to the fact that women are much looser than men, possibly due to less muscle mass. Also covers some DON'Ts. A Definite READ!

Nail Polish is Pretty! Wednesday, November 12 2008 @ 02:32 PM CST Contributed by: sissyboy We've written a number of articles on nail polish already. I just did my nails, so feel prompted to write again.
When I first started using nail polish, I was sloppy. I didn't have a technique. Luckily there are so many sites on the internet that have "How-To" articles, or even videos.
Free Beauty Tips has all kinds of, well... Beauty Tips! Everything you can think of about Nail Polish!
I use the videos on Video Jug quite a bit. Here's one on How To Apply Nail Polish.
Today, I'm using pink nail polish on my toenails, and clear pink "Wet 'n Wild" on my fingernails. I can use the clear pink even in public without too much worry. I get lots of my Nail Polish stuff on Ebay .
