Ending Poverty. It's Time
Poverty is too little money to cover basic and fundamental needs. The solutions must be ones that make it possible for Minnesotans to:Increase their incomesccumulate and hold onto assetsAfford basic needs through a fair marketplaceOur Coalition explores policy options that affirm our state’s core values: Work, Opportunity, Fair play, Compassion, and Community. We can build on a legacy of introducing the nation to effective and innovative solutions to end poverty. It's possible. It's time.
Petition 2009
Join a grassroots petition effort. Ensure that policymakers know that this issue is important to you and other constituents. Our best hope for changing that dynamic is now, while legislators and candidates for the legislature are working hard to convince us they are worth our vote. They are listening. They are assessing what matters to their constituents. Go.
