You don't expensive equipment all it takes is a digital camera that has the ability to shoot little videos or a web cam for your computer.2. Music Ministry. Another great free service is the MySpace section that lets you sign up for a band page. Your "band" can be your ministry and you can upload music that you have recorded or any copyright free music that you would like to use. Instead, your congregation will visit your web site to read, hear, or even watch your sermon through your web site or Youtube.So here are the steps to starting a web ministry.1. Get ordained. You can get ordained from the Universal Life Church right now.2. Find a web host. Finding a place to host your site on should not be hard or expensive. How many times have you heard someone fantasize about winning the lottery or being a big movie or music star. Just look at American Idol.Too many times our dreams and desires remain as fantasies and become quite rusty with age. We just go on dreaming and wondering what life would be like if we could just fulfill some of the things on our wish list.It is very unfortunate that we let these get away from us and instead of living the exciting life we imagined, there is the problem of looking at the day as just trying to get by. Letting the mundane events of our daily lives dictate how we will feel is how are hopes and wants get smothered.True, we need to be mindful of the chores and activities that keep us alive and with a roof over our heads but we should not fall into the trap of thinking that there isn't enough time to work on attaining those things in life that we really want.Of course, you can't spend your entire day on a project but that does not mean it cannot be done. If you only spent 30 minutes a day devoted to one subject that is almost an entire week by the end of the year. Can you imagine how much more you would know after spending a week on it.If you can just schedule your time to include one hour a day on the subject of your dreams then you can have two weeks a year. In other words, are you going to be accepting donations and allowing your donors a tax deduction. Applying for a tax-free status is where your state might want you to be incorporated and other points of qualification.Do not be alarmed though, because starting a small church or ministry is not as hard as you might think if you are willing to forego the non-profit rating for now.The steps you need to take from here on out are pretty simple and only require a few things for you to do before you can call yourself a 'church'.You need to be ordained by an existing church so that you are an actual minister or pastor who is able to carry out the duties of the head of the congregation. The bad news is that if you are planning on being ordained by a traditional religion you will probably be required to attend a school of instruction and be baptized into their faith.The good news is that there are legal churches online that will ordain you for free.Just get on the Internet and search 'ordained for free' and you will be a minister in no time. Once you are ordained you simply ask the organization for a congregational charter form and then you become a charter church of the headquarters but you can follow your own beliefs and doctrines.To start your ministry you will need a Treasurer and a Secretary to join you the Pastor to form Board of Directors. Keep monthly meetings with the minutes of your meeting then send those minutes to the church headquarters that you are chartered with.
