Romania votes under a new electoral system, on Global Economy Matters, covers the Sunday, November 30, 2008 Romanian parliamentary elections.  New Zealand held a general election on Saturday, November 8, 2008. Elections to the New Zealand House of Representatives describes the Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) representation system used in New Zealand legislative elections since 1996, with results of parliamentary elections from 1996 to 2008.  The United States of America held a general election on Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
